'The Beeb' to Go!

Great news: the folks at BBC Radio have expanded their lineup of podcasts. They're calling it a trial, but there's every reason to believe the offerings will prove wildly popular and only expand in the months to come.

Don't confuse the BBC with the arrogant, self-important, snotty beggars at NPR in the USA. The BBC has long been able to be incredibly intelligent, yet not feel the need to hit you over the head with it.

Q: On the podcast, why don't you focus exclusively on one narrow topic (technology, sex, comic books, etc.) like so many other shows do?

A: Because friends don't do that. Because life doesn't.
