The Mr. Nice Guy Show Blog

Listen to The Mr. Nice Guy Show podcast, too.

My thoughts on what's goin' on in the world,

just like years ago on the radio.

The ads, cowed media, hatemongering talk show hosts and most ignorant among us would have us believe that the pResident has been steady as a rock on the issues while Kerry is a "flip-flopper."

Let's do something shocking: look at the facts.

There's an email-this-page link on that page.
There's a link to a printable copy of it.
Let's spread the word on this...and fight some ignorance.

This is very important!

Let's Look at the Dictionary

This is an easy one.

The pResident says Iraq will have sovereignty after June 30th.

Here's how the The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language: Fourth Edition defines sovereignty.

Easy conclusion: the pResident is lying to us.
Sad conclusion: The most ignorant among us (like 45ish percent of Americans who say they'd vote for the clueless jerk) are mindlessly buying his lies without taking the time to look up a definition or ask questions and think about stuff.

Baghdad Bush

From the great folks at

Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf, a.k.a. "Baghdad Bob," became a global laughingstock because
of his amazing truth-defying statements during the US invasion of Iraq: "The
Republican Guard is in full control" ... "They are surrounded, and we are pounding
them" ... "We have defeated them, in fact we have crushed them." Unfortunately for
America - and the world - George W. Bush is sounding increasingly like Baghdad Bob.
Read their collection of Bush's most ludicrous statements about Iraq!

Knowing Our Neighbours

Yeah, I use the Canadian spelling.

One more reason to love the BBC: their excellent, concise Your Guide to the Religions of the World.

Listen to BBC Radio and be entertained and enlightened. I listen to Radio 1, 2, 6 and the World Service very, very often. They don't talk down to us the way the American radio people do.

I Love It...Just Love It!

TV Network whores sniping at each other.

Wal-Mart Welfare

Oooh, this is good...

Some states are giving Wal-Mart millions of dollars in economic development subsidies while the very same states are slashing budgets for important services

like libraries, like in Ohio.

I've lived in this area for over 11 months.

A week ago, I finally went to see a movie in town. I recommend that you see it, too:

Super Size Me
a film of epic portions
