If there was any good reason to go there in the first place (and I don't think there really was), I see no reason for us to still be in Iraq now. If Dick Cheney and his greed-obsessed friends at Halliburton see business opportunities there, let 'em do it on their own, not with the blood of American soldiers. Most of those soldiers - it's important to remember - are about the same age as the president's daughters, who I assume are spending the summer partying their brains out in Texas.
Finally, we see what I've been waiting for: the families of troops beginning to
speak up about this.
